Steps involved in validating/authenticating a SAML Token.

Question

I have a SAML Token ,i was able to validate its signature successfully.i want to know what are the steps involved in Authorizing a user using the SAML Token in C# after the SAML Assertion is validated.I am new to SAML any ideas would be very very helpful
