SSIS or just plain FTP
Mar 23 2012 6:08 PM
Hello all,I just have one question for you. I am in the process of setting up some stuff for a community web site that I run along with a couple of other applications, and I am just curious, if I have applications which generate logs, should I use SSIS or FTP to send them to the relevant administrators? I saw some articles in here that pointed to SSIS and FTP, but I'm confused as to why you would need to use them both together? I'm asking this question because though my C# skills are week at present, I'd still like to know these things to plan ahead and ensure that I do not learn stuff that I don't need to. Thank you very much for any responses you may have.
