sql server reporting services
Oct 20 2004 12:44 PM
Hi and thank you in advance for your time! Im trying to migrate away from a control called "chartFX" and into using the sql server reporting services. I have a server with sql server/IIS on it, and a developer machine which has visual studio. I tried to install reporting services on the developer box, but failed due to not having the database on the local machine. I successfully installed the service on the databse machine, but it warned me there was no local copy of visual studio. how do I configure the system such that I design reports on the developer machine, while depolying them on the server (one would think it was straightforward, huh? thanks -pete
