sql server 2005 reporting service
Jan 10 2010 12:18 AM
If I use interactive linking between data regions instead of subreports in sql reporting services 2005, are there known issues I need to be aware of? I am asking that question since I saw the following:
Data regions, such as tables, matrices, lists, and charts, provide much the same functionality as subreports. However, they often provide better performance, particularly if the reports share data. Data regions also work better than subreports in side-by-side layouts.
I am basically new to sql reporting services and 2005 I will be working with a group of people who have some experience using subreports. These people prefer subreports since they have never heard of the linking action.
Could you let me know what to common errors to look for and/or a good url to use when setting up these linked data regions?
