Software Design/Test – ASP, SQL, XML, .NET - 123255 - Redmond, Washington

Question

Volt Technical Resources has a contract position open for a Software Design Engineer in Test working with Table PC Platform in Redmond, Washington. The project is Testing Ink Parsing, which is a part of the latest Tablet PC Platform SDK. This version of SDK is used in the next version of One Note as well, so the person's responsibilities will include Test execution, Test Development as well as manual verification.

Needed ASAP. Length of contract will be 3 months with extension to one year. (one year likely).

Responsibilities:

• Completely automate and Run Accuracy on the selected Files Sets daily.
• Maintain and Run WTT Automation and troubleshoot/debug issues.
• Perform manual E2E sanity checks for One Note and Samples as needed.
• Manual Sanity check for Ink Labeling Tool.
• Enhance Accuracy Reporting site and automated reports.
• Work with Dev on the integrated Error Categorization solutions.
• Work on the integrated IA/Parsing/Reco E2E Accuracy solution.
  

  Experience and Skills Required:

  • Previous software testing experience
  • Experience with test tools and automation development
  • C# or VB.Net
  • ASP, SQL, and XML
  • WTT experience preferred
