Shrink database file

1.I have a large database file of LDF file of 433gb and MDF of 205 gb

2.I have hard drive of 500 gb and i am linking these LDF and MDF file in a folder in that drive

3.Every time i need to change the hard drive for filling up the data.

4.is there any alternative solution for shrinking?

5.what happens if i delete the LDF file?
