Show image in a Gridview

Hi

I have a Gridview ,I want to display data like, the first column will show images of the student,second column will show there names and the third column will show there date of join.Can anybody have the code for it.

Mahesh sir is right.. but actually first i was doing same like you.. but after knowing i was studying code and learnt how it work..

To Edit Image you have to do:

Add one image, one fileupload and one button..
and in button's click event write the code to upload the image


ImageUrl='<%# Eval("cimage") %>' runat="server" />




   OnClick="btnUpload_Click" />

   this.ModalPopupExtender.Show();
   FileUpload fp = (FileUpload)Gridview1.FindControl("FileUpload1");
   if (fp.HasFile == true)
   {
   string FileName = fp.FileName;

   //if saving in folder Get Actual Path of Images Folder on Server
   string FolderPathToSave = Server.MapPath("~/<Flder name wr u save images>");

   //Save Image in Images Folder
   fp.SaveAs(FolderPathToSave + @"\" + FileName);

   //Get Just FileName not Full path of File
   ImageButton boundControl2 = (ImageButton)Gridview1.FindControl("ImageButton1");

   boundControl2.ImageUrl =fp.FileName;

And also... in sql datasource you have to write query of updateCommand and parameters

I would like to give you an advice. Once somebody (Diya in this case), points to a direction, try to do hard work and figure it out somethings yourself. It will make you think how things work. If you ask every question and somebody else will do work for you, you will not learn :)
