The Washington State Office of Financial Management’s Statewide Financial Systems unit is recruiting for an Information Technology Specialist to support the GMAP program’s DataView SharePoint system. The incumbent will design, develop, and implement customizations and additional components for the system which is used to facilitate agency GMAP forums. Governor Chris Gregoire created the Government Management Accountability and Performance (GMAP) program in 2005 to improve state agency performance in delivering results that matter to Washingtonians.
Desired qualifications include:
* A minimum or three to four years programming experience using Microsoft technologies including C#, ASP.NET, .NET Framework, XML, ADO.NET, Visual Studio .NET, Microsoft SQL Server 2005, Transact-SQL and IIS.
* Experience analyzing, designing and developing object-oriented, multi-tier, web-based applications.
* Experience with developing user interfaces for business applications. * A four-year college degree in computer science or related program and at least three years experience in application development
OR
a two-year college degree in computer science or related program and at least four years experience in application development.
Additional qualifications:
* Experience with the following SharePoint technologies, features and concepts:
o SharePoint 2007 designer
o Microsoft Office SharePoint Services (MOSS) capabilities
o SharePoint Business Intelligence capabilities
o Collaboration Application Markup Language (CAML)
o Custom web part development
o Master page & page layout
o Site definition, templates, features and feature receivers
o Custom key performance indicators
o Content development and management
o Custom workflow
o Programming SharePoint services
o Excel services
o Authoring/publishing features
The specific classification and salary range have not been finalized, but the classification will be an Information Technology Specialist 4 or 5 depending on qualifications with salary range 62 ($4,453 - $5,841 monthly + benefits) or 66 ($4,912 - $6,446 monthly + benefits), respectively
