SharePoint Designer 2010- Getting started with aspx controls

Question

Hi, 

I'm learning SharePoint designer and am struggling to find information on how to use a listbox. 

What I would like to do is have a user select a listbox item and have a document library view appear on the page. I'm using several views so that's why I want to use a list box to let the user select what they want to see. 

Can anyone point me in the right direction? :)
