SharePoint 2010: Workflow fails to run after pause

Question

SharePoint 2010 Workflow fails to run after pause and workflow status shows "In progress" for some records. If you click on it to go to the Workflow Status page, workflow history area shows "workflow failed to run" after pausing for 1 minute in latest item's Description.

 

 

For some records the workflow status is completed but there is "Workflow failed to run" after pausing and for some records there is no "Workflow failed to run " its completeing wothout error. Why this error is coming after pause and why same workflow is behaving in different for different records? Can anyone have solution to this ?
