Setting hotspots for uploaded images runtime

Question

Hi Everyone,
After uploding an image, I need to set hotspots for the image and store the hotspot id's in db so that I can add specific information for these hotspots and display the relevant information while clicking the hotspot areas.
I can set hotspots on an image using imagemap control while developing and do several actions on clicking the spots. But I need to set these hotspots for an uploded image when it is uploded from the site. (I mean while running the application.)
How can i go with this? Or is there any component or user controls available?
Any help would be appreciated.
