Session state

Question

I have two projects ( basically i have a one project but i took backup daily of the project) now when i run the project(asp.NET with vb) my backup project works fine but the actual project loses session variable of page transfer like server.transfer("Somepage",true) my backup project also having the same line of code i already compared but it works now i am very suspecious about the behaviour what would be the reason???
