selecting value from dropdownlist.

Question

Hi, In my application, I have one dropdownlistboxand two textboxes and radiobuttons. There is one add button which adds a new record to the database. Here, I'm able to add a new record to the database and I'm showing that record in the dropdownlist. But I'm not able to do one thing. That is, When I add a new record with code 55. That 55 should show in my dropdownlist as selected and also all the code's which are in dropdown should be in an order. Does any body have any Ideas, how to do that? Thanks
