Searching Record From a DataBase and Displaying In a Gridviw

Hi to all,

         I am new in .net.. have a one problem..
 in my code i have two textboxes like Student and Course and one button Submit and Gridview.
when am enter student name in student textbox it display partucular name related data only display in gridview..
if am enter course dtails it display course related data in same gridview..

Database name is StudentCourse (1 Table only)..
Could any body help me how to write code for above query...
