Save an Office File (Excel, Word etc) to SQL database
Mar 2 2006 5:03 AM
I was woundering if it is possible to save an Office document (Excel, Word etc)to the Database. Coz I have tryed a number of ways to do this. First I started with stream readind the Word doc to a RichTextbox Control, and then saving the carecters from there to the SQL 2000 database. Bit with this method I had some problems when I wanted to retreiv the information from the database. Simingly it was not saving correctly and thinkin about it, at some point it was going to be to much for my database...! So I would realy like to know how do u go about savind the documents to ur database if it is possible. thank u 4 taking time to read this...! Dancin Fingerz
