Rotating GDI images on the web

Question

I'm trying to build tabs with database driven text that are mounted on the left of the browser rotated -90 degrees from N. To do this, I make the image measure size, blah, blah blah, and I can output a perfect image...except it won't rotate. I've tried several examples and then I saw on ASP.NET the Rainbow portal has an image gallery with a rotate image property that doesn't work. Is this a bug in asp.net 1.0? I haven't tried compiling with 1.1 yet, but I'm curious if anyone else has seen this. Thanks
