Removing Selected rows from Gridview (Not Deleting from DB)

Question

Can anyone guide me regarding the aspect, i want to remove the selected rows just from Gridview not from database permanantly, once on button click the selected row will get hidden and remaining row should remain on screen, i'm trying to assign jobs to some workers, i want to remove the worker from Gridview once work assigned to him/her.
