Remotely access the SQL 2008 database

Hi,

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everybody.
I want to ask you kindly to help me how to access my SQL 2008 database which is on SQL server from my computer.
I tried with this page:

to enable remote access to SQL server database, but even though I did everything I read how to solve it, I can not connect to database form Microsoft Visual Studio 2008  from Server Explorer again.

Could anybody help me please?
