Remotely access the SQL 2008 database
Jan 3 2012 5:17 AM
Hi,
Can anybody help me please how to access the sql database remotely? I want to access the database on the SQL Server 2008 from my computer. Iallow remote connections to the server from SLQ Server Management Studio, allow the TCP/IP protocols in SQL Server Configuration Manager. I used the following sites
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/walzenbach/archive/2010/04/14/how-to-enable-remote-connections-in-sql-server-2008.aspx
and
http://www.linglom.com/2009/03/28/enable-remote-connection-on-sql-server-2008-express/
Thanks
