Registry and It's sub key Not created in Windows 8 or higher

Question

Dear all friends,

 

We have created one key at time of software installation and it's sub key as below :

 

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE - > Software  - > Yogesh - > Test 

 

In Test Sub key the string values as :

 

Name, Address, Phone No.

 

So, at time of software installation this registry and it's key and sub keys and it's string values created by default.

 

But, this is only in windows xp , 7 but not in windows 8 or higher version, so, what is the problem in creating registry.
