Regarding Web.config

Error 1: It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level. This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS. E:\stores_management\stores management\Web.config

I'm getting such kind problem. I dont know how to solve.. Plz any one help me out...
