Regarding Longhorn
Oct 19 2004 6:26 PM
Ref: Longhorn for Developers - A Brief Introduction Do you think Longhorn is ready for serious software development now? Our project is marked for release sometime around Sep'05. Major concern that we have is, application needs to work in both Winform (local/connected to server) n WebApp version . As of now, we are thinking of first going in for Winform using .Net Remoting and develop GUI for Web once we are done with Winform. (...design in a way that webform gui is easy) Reading through your article on Longhorn gives me a hope that writing application which can work both as WinForm n WebForm is possible with Longhorn. Is my impression correct? Second, is it too early to target Longhorn when prj is going to be live in Sep05? Eagerly waiting for your response.
