recent updates for calls,messages

Question

Hi,


How to implement for the recent updates for messages,calls along side the contacts like in Skype.
or what are the controls used in skype for recent updations(for messages and calls for each contact).I think this is other than tiles and toasts.
Can u please help on this issue.I had wasted lot of time till now on this.
