Question for experienced developers
Jun 9 2007 11:02 AM
Hello,
Ive been on this forum for only a short time and I have a few questions for the more experienced developers that regular here.
I just want to know, what is your opinion on the various certifications that Microsoft offers?
Im seriously considering going for a certification in MCAD or MSCD but I wanted to get some opinions on what would be the best certifications to get for someone who wants to develop Windows based applications as well as some web based applications using C#, ASP.NET, or maybe some Java (I know Sun has a few cert's out there too for that). After thinking about it for a bit, I came to the conclusion that having just a bachelors degree in Information Systems Technology wouldnt satisfy my wants for expertise so I want to get some more professional related certifications to put under my belt. Let me know what you guys think!
Thank,
Brandon(The Scrapmaster)
EDIT;
Oh, and a little insight into my nickname for those of you who are curious about it :P My friends call me ScrapIron or The Scrapmaster because I tend to be attracted to poor old appliances that have "out lived their usefulness" and I take them and rebuild them or use parts from them to rebuild others. Generally a "master of scrap" :)
