Programming/Language Aptitude Test
May 5 2004 4:23 PM
My boss has asked me to find a test that can be given to all of our programming staff. She wants to evaluate everyone's strengths and weaknesses with respect to general programming knowledge and specific languages. Does anyone know of a test that will test most of the following: 1. General Programming Skills / Logic 2. Analyzing/Correcting Psuedo code 3. C++ Language 4. Visual Basic 6.0 / VB.NET Language 5. C#.NET Language 6. SQL Statements / Queries / Design 7. ASP / ASP.NET / HTML 8. XML Now I know there's probably not some wonderful test that will cover all of this, but we're looking for basically the "SAT of Programming." Does anyone have any suggestions? Also, we're looking for something that can be professionally administered--not some take-home exam. Thanks everyone, -Chris Bryant
