Problems when creating a Crypter

Question

Hey everyone,

 

I am trying to learn how to create a crypter (in C# of course). I downloaded a source example from a different site and throughout the source they have it commented to help teach you. So I went through it and my first step was to just try and refud it. So I checked to make sure it compiled before I did anything and it worked. It did crypt the file and didn't corrupt the file. So I figured it was good. So I then went through the source to try and refud it. When I was done it, it compiled and it would crypt the file and not corrupt anything. So awesome right!? NO! I then went to donotdistribute.com to scan the file to see if it was FUD or not, and I keep getting error messages saying that the file cannot be scanned. So something is not right!

 

Also, I am trying to learn basic security and learn how hackers work and all that fun stuff, like what tools they use and such (Idk just something that interests me I guess) and that is why I am trying to make a crypter. So I am also using Cerberus RAT (Remote Administration Tool) I am sure you all know what that is :-p. So when I click on my crypted cerberus stub, it works and everything EXCEPT I get a box that will appear that is for 'vbc.exe' and it seems like if I close out of it I also loose my RAT connection as well, so this is not good! Is there anyway to fix that? And is there any other PE Headers that can inject that you guys know of...just looking for source and then try to change it or learn off it. I learn better that way somehow. 

 

Any help will be appreciated. I have attached the entire project in a RAR file...it is clean I promise, I will show you scan details even though I don't know how that works and all seeing how it is a crypter. But it is attached!
