Problem with modelpopup

Question

hi
example:in my application i have taken one gridview their are morethan 100 records paging is their for gridview
And edit button is also their in gridview.when i click the edit button modelpopup is opened
so my request is when the modelpop is opened i dont want to close thewindow .
In modelpopup i have to take two buttons previous and next i have to all the records in gridview then when i click the next button it move through to next record
and when i click the previous buton it moves through record
how to write code for that please suggest me any website links or plz write any body code for me
