Problem in using webpartmanager control
Nov 8 2009 1:22 AM
Hi all, I am using webpartmanager control and having problem with it. I created an asp.net web page and drop a webpartmanager control, with out doing any thing further I just run the application and got the following exception. An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections. (provider: SQL Network Interfaces, error: 26 - Error Locating Server/Instance Specified) I have installed SQL Server 2005 and I am working on VS 2008. When I turned the Personalization-Enabled="false" It stopped raising exception. I am unable to find any clue that I am not interacting with the database then why I am getting this exception. Does any one have any idea how to go about fixing this issue?
