posting data from view model to form (javascript)

Question

I have a function in the view model that performs some calculations.

How can i display this result onto a field in a form using javascript.  

 

*(the calculations are made based on some user input. So once the user inputs the required

info, calculations are made and now im stuck on how to display that info back)
