PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Apr 7 2004 9:09 PM
If anyone coudl assist me with this, my sanity would GREATLY appreciate it. All I am trying to do is enable and existing timer in one class from a 2nd class. It doesn't seem like that should be that tough, but every variation I have tried over the pas several weeks causes my application to hang and the debugger to just exit out. I have a timer within FormClass1 with a public method to enable the timer and an associated tick event handler section. I can place a button on the form containing the timer which does nothing more than call the public method I created to enable the timer, which works perfectly. The problem is that I can't seem to enable the timer in the FormClass1 via an object reference from the other class!!! PLEASE help if you can.. Thank you,
