PDF, FDF, Web Server
Mar 26 2005 11:42 AM
This is for a small business so the solution needs to be easy to maintain, economical and fairly quick to load in the browser. This small business has different and complicated .aspx pages with 300 or so data elements that need to be converted to PDF files for customer viewing. As it stands now, these .aspx pages and subsequent PDFs are a real bear to build, maintain and store to the database. Could the process be improved by starting with PDFs? I have successfully prototyped a fill-in-the-blank PDF with validation and submit button and called it from an .aspx page in the browser. However, what do I do at the server to receive the FDF? How do I encrypt the FDF for its trip to the server? Are there existing products out there that can help me? Or is there a better way? TIA. Ulehla
