Patchbay type connections
Jan 14 2005 9:03 AM
Hi, this is my first post here. First off, I am somewhat of a newb. I have created an applicaiton that uses a DAC board to open and close relays. I have that part working fine, but I want to create a form with graphical lines connecting one location (graphic) on the screen to another locaiton (graphic); each graphic will represent a relay. I will then use that to assign values to variable that will set my DAC which will in turn set my relay board. I don't even know where to begin with this sort of drawing. I have an example that will show what I am talking about (sort of). http://pkl.net/~node/alsa-patch-bay.html I am not asking for specific code at this time, just a point in the general direction. I don't even know what I would search for in a search engine for more information and the sample I have listed doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Thanks for any help!
