Passing variables from child to parent

Question

Hello, this is my first post here I believe and I have run into an obstruction. I have two forms, a parent and a child form and I do most of the work in the child form but I save the work using a menu item save button on the parent form. I was wondering how do you pass a variable from a child form to a parent form? The child form is "AttackForm" and the parent form is "GameForm". If you need more info just ask and I will be happy to oblige. Thanks
