page has become non-responsive

Question

Hi

How to resolve "The Following page(s) have become unresponsive. You can wait for them to become responsive or kill them". i am getting this in asp.net after clicking dropdown control. the dropdown has huge amount of data.

In other browsers site works with no problems.
