Internet Application Sr. Developer $80K+ Position Description: Primary responsibility for the technical development and support of the internal and external Internet application development efforts including web servers. Optimizing website architecture to effectively deliver content; Develop, and clearly document, site-wide coding standards; Design and implement the programming elements of significant Internet development efforts utilizing the latest available technologies; Address and resolve Web-related requests and technical issues; Re-engineer and design internal and customer-facing websites into best of breed. Background Requirements: Computer science degree; (Must have C SHARP, .Net & VB) Minimum of 2 years experience in the design and development of Internet applications using Visual Basic, including at least 2 enterprise applications (enterprise e-commerce web site development experience a +); Experience in client side and server side scripting and in developing 3-tier web applications; Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of XML, HTML, CSS, ASP, ASP.NET, CGI, Flash and related content distribution technologies; Proficiency with visual design tools, such as Adobe Photoshop, to develop logos, icons, navigation buttons, site-wide color and typeface standards; Understanding of server technologies - knowledge of Microsoft IIS, ASP, SSI's, ODBC, SQL Server, MS Access; A solid understanding of navigation templates, flow charts, and meta-vision; Strong verbal and written communication skills; and Financial services industry experience preferred. ( Collateralized Debt Obligations CDO a big plus )
