Open word doc on web page ( as html) using C# and ASP.NET MV

Question

I have a "contract file" button on my webpage which opens a word document as contract. But I need to open the contents of this word file on a webpage (like a pop up help page as seen on many websites). How do I achieve this? I'm using C# and asp.net MVC 3. Please help as I'm quite new to web programming.
