OnPremisis LDAP authentication for Azure Website

We have developed a website which is deployed in Azure cloud environment(Azure Website). Now we need to authenticate users using on-premises LDAP. We don't want to use ADFS or Azure Active directory Sync. Is this possible?. If so, what are the security settings required to be done on LDAP server?. If not possible, what are the best options I have.

Thank you,

Gaurav Singh

Azure provides ADFS and Azure Active Directory Sync services to implement LDAP in Azure.

As you told, you are not going to use those services for your application there is an work around for that.

Create VM in your company network. Suppose onpremise LDAP server in Syngenta network then you have to create VM inside Syngenta network so that all apps hosted inside VM will able to access to on premise LDAP server. You can retrieve all information regarding users and other info.
