OnPaint event

Question

hi all i am overridding the function onpaint of the form to draw things by directx but i donnot wanna the directx display take all teh form area ...just a panel control area but when i do that the other parts of the form except the panel are not refreshed what do i have to add on the onpaint function to referesh other controls of the form thanks for help
