Newbie.. Easy on for you guys..
Nov 30 2003 4:36 AM
Ok, I'm sure this is going to be a very simple one, so any info you all can pass along would be great. The situation... I am working with 2 forms, 1 will be used to collect information from the user ans store the information to defined variable (a logon screen). The other will be the form used for the main application. Question 1: Upon the user enting in all information and clicking OK, I want that form to go away and have control move to the main app form. In doing so, will all defined variable information still hold true in the new form provided the namespace is the same? Question 2: What method should I use to close (hide) the initial form prior to loading the main app form. I have been reading about the Show and ShowDialogue but this appears to only bring the 2nd form up in front of the first. Additionally, I still need to go back to the main form in order to exit my application instead of just existing the application from the new mainApp form. Hopefully I am being clear enough for you to assist... Thanks, Newbie Bob..
