.NET 2008 deploy problem

I am having a problem with a C#.net 2008 desktop app that I am trying to deployment.

The following are my questions:

1. the installer places the file in a location called C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Setup_install.

I do not have a folder called Microsoft only. i have serval Microsoft + otehr names for the files. Where would this installation be at?

2. When I do a search ofr the Setup_install file, i find that the folder is empty. What could be going wrong? I do not select any options sincei thought the deployment proejct would figure out the dependencies.

Thus if I am not completing enough tasks in the setup and/or deployment proejcts can you sugggest what else i can do and/or point to a url I can use?
