I bought Microsoft .NET Compact Framework Core Reference (Black Hardcover) $60.00 It helped me with what I needed it for which was using the listView component. It shows you all of the components and some sample code about core functionality of each. goes into threading, SQL CE, graphics programming, XML, networking, etc... Pretty decent despite the extra $10-15 dollars I expected to pay.
