need help with boolean array... thx in advance

Question

i have 10 checkboxes a combobox and a button.
after iv made my selection in the combox an checked the desired checkboxes i want the values to be stored in an array (or 2 dimension array)when i click the button. so that when i change the selectedindex for the combox, the checkboxes iv checked for that specific item reappear checked.
if it makes sense to u ..how do i go about doing this .. any help is much appreciated
