Need help in sharepoint timer service.

Question

I have sharepoint 2013 farm with one app and one WFE. In WFE sharepoint timer service is running fine but app server every couple of minutes it gets stopped automatically... my first question is if the timer service run on wfe n doesn't run in app server... will it create any problems???? My second question is why the timer service gets stopped automatically in app server, how to fix this???
