Need help choosing algorithm and topic

Hello everybody,<br /><br />I am not pretty sure if this is the right place, but I have searched a lot and still cannot decide what to do.<br /><br />So here is why I am typing here - I am studying last year computer science and therefore I have to make my Bachelor thesis - I want to make it in the field of cryptography. The problem is that I cannot choose a topic for it. I spoke with my mentor and she gave me the freedom of choosing the topic by myself.<br /><br />Her advice was that I can make some kind of application that implements one or more algorithms - for example AES, RSA, SHA.<br /><br />I am typing here for advice - if anyone has ideas of what might the thesis topic be or some example topics or any ideas for even a simple application that may implement any crypto algorithms would be very appreciated.<br /><br />Thank you in advance, I am really stuck.<br /><br />Regards, Kristian
