Need advice on scope of Mtech from IIT

Question

Hi All,

I am a dotnet programmer having 3.3 years of experience and working in the same company from the day one and about an education I am a Msc.IT holder, I didn't get good exposure to the new technology of dotnet and having average salary.
I was just thinking of Mtech, I want to know what is the scope of MTech?
Do I need to do Mtech or would go for some other specialization?
Is it right time for me to do MTech?
