Need A Help in URL and URI

Question

Hello Everyone,

 

We all use many URLs on a daily basis. Sometimes we type them, sometimes we are just redirected to one URL by another. I have faced an interview someone asks me the difference between  URI and URL. I have google it but till now I didn't get the exact answer. Anyone explain to me the syntax of both.
