Mvc displaying unread message count(ex-gmail)

hi,

 

 

      in my Application i need to create one Notification bar like that face book notification ...etc

 

   i want to display my gmail inbox count in top of my application ....if any unread application am having it should be notify in that top.please help me .....

 

 

  if suppose you are confuse to find this answer please send me if  you know in mvc unread message notification links some Reference links  whatever it is Please send me Please help me and share your knowledge bro's.
