MS Word programming in C#.
Sep 21 2003 6:09 AM
Hi All! I've few queries regarding MS Word programming in C#. I need to open a word document using the browser(IE) plugin and to perform few customize tasks. Pls help me to know how to accomplish following stuff 1. Need to open a word document as read only, i.e. the user should be able to just read the document but not edit it. 2. Need to open a document and associate it with a particular template, pls note I'm opening document in browser plug-in. 3. When a user inserts a comment, the user name that appears in the comment should be my application specific not of the Word application. As api supports this but the modified name should not be reflected in MS WORD. I would really appreciate of any kind of suggestions. Thanks In Advance Bimpy
