Migrate exisiting project from ASP.NET MVC to .NETCore

Question

Hi,

 

Can anyone suggest about migration to .NetCore from MVC? I am working on a project that is in MVC web Application but as technology is getting changed and .Net Core has better performance, Can we migrate that to .Net Core.

 

Would like to mention that project has lot of code as this is an ongoing project since last 5 years.
