Migrate ASP.Net WebSite to Azure

Question

Hello,

 

I am relatively new to Microsoft Azure, but in my current organisation I get the task to migrate ASP.Net Website (Developed in older version of Visual Studion i. e. VS 2010 & Framework 4.0) to Azure (PAAS) Web App.

 

Can any one explain me in detail, the steps which I suppose to follow by doing minimal changes in my current application?

 

I have bifurgated some task which I suppose to follow to achieve it as followes :

 

1) Migrate current application DB to Azure DB => Done

2) There are File Upload / Download functionality code, I am converting that using Blob storage. => Work in progress

3) In current app there are some mails suppose to get trigger for that I have created 1 Azure Function Service and will write a code for the same. => Work in progress.

 

Apart from all these activities please giude me if I missed any step.
